How is SOAR Physical Therapy different than home health?

SOAR Physical Therapy

SOAR Physical Therapy provides mobile outpatient physical therapy services to patients of all types. Physical therapy sessions take place at home, work, or any convenient location and participation is not bound by the rules of insurance. An expert therapist is conveniently available to aid your recovery in the comfort of your own home. SOAR PT patients may be recovering from surgery or any type of injury. Restrictive insurance plans can limit home health benefits for some patients

Patient does NOT have to meet homebound criteria
Require skilled physical therapy
Be supervised by a primary care provider (MD, PA, or NP) or specialist

SOAR Home Care (home health services)

SOAR home health services are for patients recovering from a joint replacement, other orthopedic surgery, or any hospital stay. Skilled, in-home physical therapy and nursing services are ordered by a qualified provider. When certain criteria are met home health services are typically covered in full for those patients recovering from surgery or recently discharged from an inpatient stay.

Patient must be homebound per Medicare criteria
Require skilled nursing or physical therapy
Have an acute medical need-recent surgery or hospital admission
Be supervised by a primary care provider (MD, PA, or NP) or specialist
